Angela Eakin, M.D., with the Kaiser Permanente Lidgerwood Medical Center, is one of the few plant-based doctors practicing in the Spokane area. She has studied nutrition and human health for more than 10 years and strongly believes that a plant-based diet and other lifestyle factors are the key to living a long and healthy life.
Eakin helped open Barnard Medical Center, the first all-vegan medical clinic in Washington, D.C., before moving to Spokane in 2017. Her goal is to continue to spread the growing knowledge about the health benefits of plant-based diets and teaching patients how to help themselves. She firmly believes plant-based diets are appropriate for all ages and stages of life.
