The Northwest Pet Expo, a community fundraiser for SCRAPS, is being held March 24 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center in Spokane. “Do you love pets?” asks Suzie Dunn, pet expo organizer and Sponsorship and Events Director for KXLY. “Then this is a must-see event for you. It’s all about pets and fun for the whole family.”
The expo features exhibits from a variety of local and national pet businesses. Attendees will get a chance to visit a wide selection of pet retailers, watch educational talks, and participate in fun kid-friendly activities. There will also be grooming contests, doggie fashion show, police K9 presentations, wiener dog races and free samples galore. In addition, several rescue and animal welfare groups will be on hand along with many of their pets available for adoption.
