Healing with Horses Sanctuary, located just outside of Spokane, is offering a year-long Healing Herd program that combines professional development with personal growth and healing. Module One, Foundation Principles of Equine-facilitated Learning and Healing, will be held April 30 to May 4 and is the only module in the series that can be taken as a stand-alone class. Module Two, Communication and Relationship, is June 5 to 9; Module Three, Leadership and Community is October 2 to 6; and Module Four, Soul Work, is April 16 to 20, 2020.

“This program is for people who have experience with horses and who are already working to support others and are interested in exploring, in an open, collaborative and soulful way, the healing and growth potential of the horse-human relationship,” says Gloria Lybecker, owner and program instructor. “All participants are invited to bring their own experience and insight to the program and to take part in refining the content to fit the needs and interests of those attending.”

Healing Herd program graduate, Sumaya Abu-Haidar from Colorado, shares that she entered the program hoping to find a community within which to connect, collaborate, explore and grow around a common love of horses and personal development. “I can say without reservation that my hopes for the program were not only met but exceeded. I found a community that embodies a spirit of compassion, collaboration and co-creation,” she says.

Cost: $1500 per module. Discount available for all four modules. Limited spaces available. For more information, contact Gloria Lybecker at 509-876-1802 or visit HealingWithHorsesSanctuary.com.
