Creative Rejuvenation Retreat is being held September 6 to 8 at the beautiful Rejuvenation Sanctuary in Sagle, Idaho. This art, yoga and nature inspired weekend is ideal for anyone seeking reconnection to their own inner creativity and the great outdoors.
“This weekend retreat is intended to energize participants through the power of creative play and workshops, including guided process painting and art journaling,” says Bevie LaBrie, retreat organizer and art therapist. “You don’t have to have experience as a painter—all you need is a desire to reconnect to your creative, intuitive energy and strength, and to be in nature and community.”
LaBrie’s work centers around helping people struggling with creative blocks, physical and health challenges and life transitions. “Joy, pain, memory, healing, emotion and spirituality emerge through art,” she explains. “As children, we were all creators but many of us have shut this creative energy down. This retreat is about rediscovering it.”
Retreat co-leader, Heidi Christina Hampe, is a health consultant, healer and ayurvedic practitioner who focuses on wellness and nutrition. “The weekend is meant to nourish the body, mind and soul through creative arts, nature mindfulness experiences, as well as yoga, detoxification and ayurvedic education,” says Hampe. “We will also be serving organic, locally-sourced vegetarian meals to keep us energized throughout the transformational weekend.”
